Plant models
This page makes some plant models (originally built with Xfrog and now converted to polygons in case you don't have Xfrog) available for download. Just be aware that they are likely to be fairly high-poly.
Feel free to use them in personal or commercial renders, whatever you wish. They must not be resold from another site, these are intended for free use by anyone.

The dandelion is a common weed plant in lawns and hedgerows. This download includes three models and high-resolution textures. The models range from about 2,700 to 7,600 polys. It's quite a large download due to the texture size.

A model of what you might call a 'generic shrub' - that is, not an actual plant but something you can use when you just want a simple shrub in the background. Built with Xfrog. Weighs in at just over 6000 polys so it's not too heavy while remaining reasonably detailed.

The stinging nettle is a common hedgerow plant well known by kids everywhere. This model includes two bitmapped textures for the leaves. Weight is about 1800 polys.

This is a simple but fairly detailed model of an ornamental grass stem, built with Xfrog. Weighs in at under 1000 polys so you can have a lot in a scene without causing problems.

A rubber plant as a potted house plant. Weighs in at 2250 polys so it's not polygon-heavy but still looks quite good in closeups. Has different textures for the front and rear of the leaves. Plant pot not included (but hey, how difficult is it to model a plastic plant pot!).
